On the eve of May holidays, Modus Vivendi Center released the English translation of novel-requiem "STONE DREAMS" of the famous Azerbaijani humanist writer Akram Aylisli.

The novel depicts the massacre and pogroms of Armenians in Sumgait (February 1988) and Baku (January 1990), as well as the comparison of the life in the ancient Armenian city of Agulis (Aylis) during the rule of Armenians and Caspian Turks.

In 2014, a formal request was made by various public figures throughout the world to nominate Aylisli for the Nobel Peace Prize “For courage shown in his efforts to reconcile Azerbaijani and Armenian people”.
